The Japan Cosmetic Center (JCC) was honored to participate in the 30th anniversary celebrations of Cosmetic Valley, international partner of JCC since 2015. The event took place on June 20, 2024.
JCC President Mr. Yamasaki and JCC Coordinator S. Paro joined international partners from the Global Cosmetics Cluster for a three-day event showcasing the Cosmetic Valley’s ecosystem.
The celebration was held at the magnificent Château de Chambord in France, gathering more than 500 attendees for a ceremony chaired by the famous French TV host and journalist Stéphane Bern. As part of the event, global partners, including JCC, were called on stage for an interview conducted by Mr. Bern, highlighting the strong international collaborations with France within the Global Cosmetics Cluster.
Participants enjoyed a private visit to the historic château and dining around its famous double helix staircase, creating a memorable experience.
The three-day program included visits to key sites and institutions that have supported Cosmetic Valley’s growth over the past three decades. Highlights of the tour included:
- A welcome reception at Chartres town hall and an evening tour of the city’s illuminations
- A guided visit to Procter & Gamble’s high-tech factory in Blois
- An exclusive tour of the Château du Clos Lucé, featuring a new multi-sensory exhibition on Leonardo da Vinci and Renaissance perfumes
- Sensory experiences including a wine tasting and visits to VALESENS Tours and RCP Design Global
This event not only celebrated Cosmetic Valley’s achievements but also strengthened the bonds between international partners in the cosmetics industry.
