The 10th International “COSMETIC360” exhibition was held on October 16th and 17th at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. JCC participated for the first time in 4 years following the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. Here’s a quick report on the exhibition overview and latest trends.
This prestigious perfume and cosmetics industry exhibition celebrated its 10th anniversary, bringing together 350 exhibiting companies, including 32 startups, with visitors from approximately 70 countries. This year’s theme was “Longevity-Durability,” focusing on sustainability in cosmetics, including new technologies to delay skin aging and environmental considerations such as product lifecycle and recyclability.
At JCC’s joint exhibition booth, two companies showcased their innovations. Achieve Co., Ltd. demonstrated their eye-area treatment that reduces age-related eyelid sagging while providing moisturizing care. The product received significant attention for its immediate visible results.
Adan Co., Ltd. presented their cosmetics featuring high-concentration silk ingredients made from premium Japanese silk using their proprietary dissolution method. Both companies reported successful outcomes, including interest from major cosmetic manufacturers and high appreciation for Japanese silk quality.
The COSMETIC360 AWARDS recognized excellence across six categories: Raw Materials, Formulation, Testing & Analysis, Packaging, Brand & Retail, and Manufacturing Process. A special jury prize was also awarded for innovations in longevity technology.
The exhibition also featured COSMETOPIADS, a cosmetics “Olympics” coinciding with the Paris Olympic year, where 14 countries participated. JCC proudly represented Japan in the National Pavilion, with generous sponsorship from SILAB NORTH EAST ASIA Co., Ltd. JCC won multiple medals across four themed categories (Training, Public Research, Local Initiatives, and Expertise).
JCC will continue supporting its members’ international business development through its global network.
Next year’s COSMETIC360 will be held on October 15-16, 2025.
