Supporting startups

JCC welcomed Taiwanese startups into the Japanese cosmetics landscape through an acceleration program in collaboration with ITRI and Creww. Additionally, we supported a Korean startup dedicated to developing cosmetic ingredients using natural resources and upcycled ingredients to promote innovation and diversity in the industry.

Knowledge sharing

JCC hosted nine online and in-person seminars to provide our members with useful industry information and facilitate their business development. The topics ranged from cosmetic product development to overseas markets and trends to cosmetic ingredients. These sessions also provided valuable insights and networking opportunities for industry professionals.

Sustainable innovation

In partnership with Karatsu City and Genkai Town, JCC launched a program on October 1st to develop herbal ingredients using local farmlands. This initiative, conducted with ACRO Co., aims to promote sustainability and create value for future products, including the products of the Japanese cosmetic brand THREE. Recognizing herbs’ potential in this cultivation area, JCC aims to develop high-quality, domestically sourced herbal ingredients.

And a lot more…

Looking ahead, Japan Cosmetic Center remains committed to innovation, creating new collaborations, and promoting sustainability within the cosmetics industry. With a decade of achievements and a history of commitment to our members, we’re excited to continue our journey toward a brighter future for the Japanese cosmetic ecosystem.
