Japan Cosmetic Center (JCC) held its annual General Assembly on 22 June 2022 in Karatsu, Japan. In this framework, JCC also held its Executive Board meeting.
Due to the pandemic context, the meetings were all held in hybrid format, allowing members to attend and vote online if travel regulations prevented them from participating in person.

Other strategic decisions by the General Assembly included the approval of the business plan for FY 2022, focused on New Market Development, Industry Creation, and regional Branding, the three main pillar projects with which JCC aims to:
- support overseas export and the development of regional cosmetics sales channels

- strengthen the collaboration with Overseas clusters
- promote the new “Cosmetic therapy” project, in cooperation with the International Caremake Association, for improving the quality of life of the elderly or differently abled people
- support local start-up activities

The other main highlight of the day was a commemorative seminar, showcasing two outstanding projects in the Japanese cosmetic panorama, explaining many and diverse ways of helping to build a more “socially helpful” use of cosmetic products and cosmetic knowledge from various contexts and perspectives:
