Korean cosmetics (K-Beauty), which are increasingly gaining popularity all over the world, have a strong following in Japan and imports are growing, while there is an accelerating movement away from the mature domestic market to seek new sales channels overseas, especially in Asia where the JCC is working to create business with Korea.
The JCC has invited Mr Junji Asai from Yano Research Institute Ltd. as a lecturer to talk about the general situation and potential of Korean cosmetics in the Japanese market.
